I've got another general interest site for sale. This was one that I was building with a partner...but, due to a change in our personal situations recently, neither of us has time to get it going like it needs to. So we have just decided this afternoon to let it go to someone who has the time and energy to invest in it.

Find Fan Sites
http://findfansites.com
PR3 - 79 partners in the Links Directory

The concept here was to play on our interest in bands, TV shows, actors, etc (especially "classics" from the past) and build a niche directory. We were going to "seed" the site with a bunch of links to sites...both fan sites and official sites...and then, once the word got out about it, owners of such sites would see it and seek links from this site. So far, we have in place 258 links to sites of Actors & Actresses, Artists & Bands, Athletes, Books, Movies, Sports Teams and TV shows.

We really hadn't started driving traffic to it yet, because we were trying to get some "critical mass" together first in terms of content. Because we had exchanged some links with link partners, however (since that process takes so long), the search engines have seen it and started sending a little traffic already. But not much....less than 10 visitors a day on average.

But, because it's a good quality site (looks great and solid content), it's gotten some decent rankings. Here are just a few of the terms folks have used to arrive at the site lately:

MSN
#1 - find celebrity
#1 - movie star fan sites
#1 - directory of movie stars past and present (LOL...a long one!)
#2 - official celebrity sites
#2 - celebrity fan sites
#4 - star official web sites
#5 - fan site directory
#5 - Best Movie Fan Sites
#9 - celebrity super star
#15 - celebrity sites
#24 - fan sites

I still believe this site has some nice potential. It needs some work to get it over the hump. One absolute requirement will be the purchase of the Reciprocal Manager script...as that's what the site is built on (and why it's administered so easily). I'll provide you with a link to the product if you're the eventual buyer...it costs $150...but you can use it on as many sits as you want once you own it.

The minimum sale price for this site will be $300. However, as it's a general interest site, I am going to offer it on a bid basis...since their may be a number of people who'd like to own it. The highest two bidders by 10pm ET Monday night (10.24) will have a chance to top each other.

Contact me via PM with questions or to make an offer. Thanks for your interest!

FindFanSites.com had no bidders. I'm not lowering the price...but it's now just a flat price for the first person that shows up with $300.

Funny4Kids is also still available.

Please be sure to read the descriptions of both so you know what you're getting if you buy them.
