I spent hours yesterday testing Chitika ads so I could get specific ads for specific products to display. I have 2 specific products listed in my ad's non-contextual code. Both products are available at Amazon. Yet my ads continually display (60% of them time) completely irrelavent ads like swimming pool heaters, digital cameras, CD rom drives all of which has nothing to do with the 2 product names I have listed in the code. Not even partials.

Thus my click thru rate was sad.

Is anyone else having this problem? If so, is there anything I can do to resolve it? Chitika seems like a great idea but I'm beginning to have doubts...

LOL ... Just as I hit "submit" on my previous post, I saw an irrelavant ad displayed on this forum's thread ... "Bowflex" ... what does Bowflex have to do with "digital cameras", "ipod mini", "sony playstation", "dell laptop" ???

Here's the problem, if I am taking my time writing quality content around a specific digital camera model, and Bowflex is displayed in the area in which the camera image/info should be because I'm writing abou it, what are the chances my visitor will take my website serious and return for more quality content reading - let alone click on the ad? :(
