View Full Version : Hosting Recommendations?

As part of my scaling-down and focusing process, I am moving away from dedicated servers and hosting sites for others.

I'd be interested in hearing any recommendations for hosting companies. I need both hosting for individual sites and for a bunch of sites...and some recommendations including a high transfer-bandwidth allowance.

Thanks!

Hey Chuck,

You might want to check out Site5.com

I did a lot of research when I made a switch 10 months ago. Great bandwidth and I especially like unlimited domains.

# 12 GB Web Space
# 150 GB Bandwidth
# Unlimited Real Domains
# Unlimited MySQL Databases
# Unlimited E-mail Accounts
# Unlimited FTP Accounts

$21.95 month or less

Have a look... I highly recommend them.

Hi Chuck,

I strongly recommend Hosted By: HostRocket.Com

I've personally used them for my sites before I migrated to dedicated server. I found them very professional and they have a big community where you can get help within few min.

I use and love VAR Hosting (www.varhosting.com) they have great reseller plans to cater for any size and they have pretty decent support service (which is great for a novice like myself), oh and they are cheap too.

I am now using www.NewWebsite.com for multi domain hosting and it seems to work well after I asked for being moved to a less crowded server. Quick response for support. I have 300 domains of my own there as a reseller account.

As I am also wanting to concentrate my hosting with other domains, I came accross http://www.servage.net and there you can host 25 domains without any extra costs, total 15 GB and 330 GB trafic for 7.50 ECU /m (office in 4 countries, including US).
This is certainly something I will go after.

I knew you guys would come thru. Good recommendations!

Looking at my list of sites this morning, I realize just how long and complicated a process it will be for me to migrate to individual accounts.

But I am currently pouring a lot of money into hosting....so I think it's a direction I want to being moving.

I've used a dozen or so web hosts and Site5 is the best I've seen.
