Yow! That's awful!

Is it a "street cred/I'm too cool to leave those nasty ads up in your face" thing to put your ads in a block that closes itself after displaying for only 20 seconds?

For that matter, is it a "coolness" thing to go out of your way using CSS and JavaScript to style a site so that it looks like it was built by a 14 year old using FrontPage 2.0? There's a lot of work in the HTML to make the site look ugly.

I wonder what Google thinks about the vanishing AdSense trick.

They must have moved it - maybe they read this site?? :)

It's now under the header graphic. However, the page is rather loud graphically, so I couldn't immediately see the ads - had to go looking.

Hmmmm, I bet they don't like it! I also suspect they don't know about it either. But as far as I can see they have changed this also - the ads are permanent now.
