Hello Folks,
Web page design advice needed!
Is presenting adsense in the manner below acceptable for visitors to my site/s and an acceptable method of using adsense? I have divided each article page into four aspects…
1. I write short articles (100 words or less), which are complete and the reader is not left wondering what to do next with the information. Some articles will have links for further reading if warranted.
2. Adsense code inserted into each article.
3. At the bottom of each article page, insert “Power RSS Script code” for fresh feed to keep the article alive with Google.
4. At the bottom of each article my copyright info and links to my other sites.
A query, do the website links to my other sites necessarily mean SE spiders will follow these links and are visitors to these article pages likely to also follow these links?
I’m sure the cleaner the article page is the better. I just don’t have the experience in knowing what to include and what to leave out.
What I am envisaging there will be three groups of links on each article page.
a) Adsense
b) Power RSS
c) Webmaster site links
What do you think is this too much to incorporate on each article page? Writing articles is not a problem.

Hi, Rod,
Just wondering.... do you have any sample pages up yet? It would help me to see the layout.
Best,

Hello Julie,
No, I don't have a sample page. All my articles are in a knowledge base. I will make up the first of the new article page layouts and post back to this thread. Give me 24 hours.

The url below is an article page on my SE feed site. PowerRSS script is at the bottom of the web page to provide fresh feed for the search engines.
The visitor to this page can click on the "Read Full Article", which will take the visitor to the appropriate site, or the visitor may decide to click on the Adsense, either way this page is designed for Search Engines.

The article is actually in two parts. What do you think, is this a sound marketing method to promote a website? Something any Webmaster could do.

Hello Nanda,
PowerRSS has is not associated with adsense, it is an automated content script added to your web pages through keywords. On my sample page in this post the keyword I have used is "Windows" as I have a offline computing business.
To get visitors to my websites to click on my adsense I am using PowerRss, Google sitemap XML submission, and RSS2Blog to attract site visitors.

But, I am not sure though how many links on one article content web page is too many!

Spiders will follow any text link they find, unless you have it set up as "nofollow".
Humans may or may not follow the links, depending on how visible the links are, what the link text is, & whether it interests them.
If your RSS script is bringing in good content, that is well worth it for the few visitors that will leave your pages.
Adsense code is Javascript- doesn't count as links.
As long as you stay under 100 total links per page, you'll be fine. It sounds like you'll have maybe 10 or so.

Never heard of Netball- is that an online game?

Netball, is women's basketball (can't bounce the ball, a very high skilled game) and played in the commonwealth countries. Australia has over 2 million netball players. My wife is a coach and ex-goal shooter. In our club the teams are called "Fliers" not after my wife's name but after female kangaroos.

Hi Tumbarumba,
I see you've gotten some answers.
I wondered if you were submitting your articles to article directories. If not, article submission is the second step after putting articles together.
Some new software has come out that will allow you to submit to over 150 directories at once, its called Article Submitter Pro (http://www.best-e-book.com/suggests/article_submitter.htm)
I also put together a free report discussing various methods of manipulating article text and submission, I was going put it up for sale, but for a limited time I'll allow anyone from this forum to download it free of charge http://www.desktop-wealth.com/artbot/How_to_Create_Many_Articles.pdf
Hope that helps...let me know.

Hello Scott,
I wondered if you were submitting your articles to article directories.
Not as yet as all my articles have been locked up in a knowledge base for subscribers to my website. That all changing.
Some new software has come out that will allow you to submit to over 150 directories
Submission Pro sounds just the berries. I'll purchase this when I ready for sure.
One question you may be able to shed some light on:
Do you think scripts such as Rss2Blog is nothing more than trying to trick the SE spiders with pinging. Is Google going to wise up to this current and popular method sometime soon?
