Bob,
This new blog looks promising. I do hope that Google will utilize it to provide lots of good information - maybe even some guidance.
It seems that it's a perfect way for them to help us folks who try to play by the rules with our AdSense ... but those of us also who are trying to help Google (and ourselves) utilize their targeted ads on our websites.
By the way, Bob, where did you hear about this new blog? You are so quick - thanks! Please keep us posted as to what you find when you find it...

I do hope that Google will utilize it to provide lots of good information - maybe even some guidance.Actually, I would have hoped that Joel would have invited them to have a charter account here where we could ask them questions and get official answers instead of just speculation (e.g., the question about ads popping up in a new window -- nobody here could do anything but speculate; a member of the Google team could maybe have answered and/or taken the feedback back to corporate for a change of policy).

I am a member of the Google forum and received a rogue email the other day from someone that was not satisfied with Adsense and their customer service. Not sure how he broke the security, but he did manage.
Was laughs all round!

Tom... what a great idea!
I would have hoped that Joel would have invited them to have a charter account here where we could ask them questions and get official answers instead of just speculation
But, I have a hunch that those smart folks over at Google are aware of this, and other, forums. Whether they participate or not is probably a corporate policy... who knows.
One thing that I've been very pleased with is Google's responsiveness to my questions. Sure, I've only contacted them twice... but, they did indeed get back to me... and resolve my questions. That's very commendable.
And, I'm sure there are others who may have not had good "service" from Google. This is how it is all over... with all companies. Personally, I think Google is doing a good job... and I constantly look forward to what they are doing next!
And... I encourage any member of Google who May be reading this thread, please consider Tom's concept... it's brilliant! ;)
