Just a quick question: Any of you guys opting for the direct deposit option? Is it reliable?
Cheers,
Brendon
I have the same question. I was thinking of trying it until I saw that it's in its beta stage still.

Been doing it for 5 months now, with a bank account in The Netherlands. No problems whatsoever!

Hi Brendon,
I've had the last three months be direct deposit.
I really like it. It's quick... and saves me a trip to the bank.
I think it's awesome if it continues without problems.

Been doing it since they offered it. Works fine. Just wish they would stop paying later every month. Check or direct deposit they seem to put it off till later in month each month.

My UK bank account gets a small boost every couple of months, paid directly into it, so it's working for me.

Hi.
I've been using the direct deposit without problems. I receive the money faster than regular check.
It will be perfect if they will be able to send the money to my bank account in Andorra. Only for tax purposes. That would be Great!
Yours in profits.

No problems for me yet...
I have a US account. It took a while to get the PIN code, however.

It arrives in my UK bank like clockwork.
They send it in £££ so it saves the $16 check fee for $$checks and is cleared funds which saves time.
I just wish they could send a simple email to tell me it is arriving.

Bendon,
why do they need your pin? I just clicked, gave Googe my acct. # and routing # and now the money ends up in my account ...BAM... the day Google says "payment".
it used to be that it took 4-5 days to receive the check then I had to get to the bank and the whole thing took until the first few days of the following month.
 Why not?

I'm shifting over to direct deposit. Getting a check in hand is fun, but that novelty has worn off.
Direct deposit works well with Amazon, so it ought to with Google, too.

Go for it. No problems here. Much better than a paper check.

Interesting to hear, since I read somewhere that it was only available in the USA.

We rely a bit on our Google check each month and it says that it might take a month to start processing. How quickly did they start depositing after you signed up?

No problems for me, though I do miss the UPS man pulling up to my driveway with an envelope. ;-)

I've almost signed on several times, but hesitate because I have two DBAs (doing business as...) for my company. The bank account and my AdSense account are in the different names, so I'm afraid that could cause some problem, then I'd have to wait weeks to get paid for that month.

No problems for me, though I do miss the UPS man pulling up to my driveway with an envelope. ;-)Make enough and they'll switch you back to express delivery from direct deposit. Seems there is an upper limit that policy will allow since direct deposit is still in a "testing" phase. And, in the process they charge you the express delivery fee (i.e., take it out of earnings) and don't refund it until the next month.

Hi FILExt,
I'm receiving my checks by courier right now and have been for ages. My checks are between $10,000 & $15,000 monthly. Are you saying that if I signed on for direct deposit 'G' will switch me back to courier delivery for being over some sort of revenue threshold?
Cheers,
Brendon

Google is known for dragging beta products on for years...Direct deposit is no difference. Don't let it scare you that it is in beta...it is safe and it is a much better option IMO.

Checks between $10K and $15K and up to double that are fine for direct deposit. Somewhere over that (don't know the exact threshold) they will put you back to checks via courier so you have to sign for them. In a way I can see their logic; having to sign for the checks assures them a person at your address actually got the money.

Where is the list of countries that Google says it will Direct Deposit to?
Last I heard Australia wasn't on the list. I wonder if that will change.
