Joel, and other internet money makers, Myself and others would like to know what type of business you have setup for yourself and your internet companies and why....
Did you go LLC, S-Corp, or did you go with the good old c-corp....
I've been hearing good and bad things of all these talking to different people in the profession, but I can't decide if they are not really the right people to talk to.
So I wanted to see what you guys/gals are using....
I've heard that a single member llc is "ok" but the true danger is if you personnal get suid you could lose your interest in that company.... up to your percentage of ownership :-(
And in todays world mention of a c-corp and accountants cringe.... But my question is if "ALL" major corps are c's then why can't we be? I wound't mind a good-old company car as a biz perk....
