This is a new site for me... not sure how it'll work... but I like what I did with the adsense... comments/suggestions are always welcome. The comments section of the site is not finished, but you get the idea.

Incredible job at blending the ads into the site. I almost didn't see the ads in the content of the site. I just wonder if hiding them like that is good or bad. It is too easy to overlook these ads.
Maybe you should test having the AdSense ad being the first item as well.
I love the link ads across the top and the search at the bottom. Really a great job!

Thanks... I'll try moving the ads around. I have to get traffic up first before any AB testing will tell me much, though.
I can't take credit for the template. I got it from one of my blogger blogs. It is just one of their standard templates. I use it for just about everything because it is clean and looks ok... I hate to spend too much time on design when coding is so much more fun :)

I do the same thing. If I see a WordPress template I like, I use it for my sites. I may change the color scheme, graphics and possibly the fonts, but it saves a whole lot of time.
The amount of traffic you get shouldn't matter too much for A/B testing, just let it run longer. There is a free A/B script SIMA or something like that, I forget. You should be able to find it with a Google search for "free split test software."
Even though the template isn't yours, kudos for such a great job blending the AdSense into the site.

wow, I did miss those the first time thru - I thought you only had the links at the top. I did notice; however, that w/ Firefox (haven't checked w/ IE) that your other title links aren't underlined. I would also have to wonder about the bullets next too the ads. I know images are okay as long as they don't intentionally draw attention to the ads like an arrow or finger pointing at them, but Google may think that it would have the same affect. Have you received permission to do so yet? I'd be very curious to know their response :)

I may follow a rule that is very dear to me... "It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission"
I can't imagine that bullets draw undue attention to the ads. If they don't like it, I'll remove them.
Thanks for the reviews!

Google isn't very forgiving, but an email giving you permission would go a long way. Whatever floats your boat...
IMO, Google needs a big disclaimer on the top of every page that says, "We can ban you for any reason, or no reason at all, including the kind of shampoo you use on your dog, and will not reply to your emails when you beg to be let back in when simply reading the TOS or sending us a quick email would have avoided this in the first place. Have a nice life." ;)

I think G' would have to be pretty tight to say no to the bullets. Interested in their answer though!

If they ever say anything, I'll let you know... but don't hold your breath. I bet it is just fine. If the bullets were arrows, I could see that they'd have a problem.
