Adsense Secrets ebook bonus items ?

I bought the ebook tonight. I downloaded the Adsense Secret ebook. On the sales page it mentioned that I was getting a bunch of bonus items.

On the download page, only the main ebook was listed and nothing else.

I get a link later on that says go to this other link for free bonus items I was supposed to get. I them get hit up to buy more items and no download still for the free bonus ebooks I was supposed to get. Mr. Joel looking for monthly subscription and other fees.

Take a look yourself. Doesn't seem honest to me.

I bought an offer through Michael Cheney, who promised:

These two should come from Michael Cheney:

* the 'Access All Areas MP3 Interview' (I didn't get it)

* 'Stolen Tactics' Report. (I didn't get this either)

I've written Michael Cheney through his homepage, two or three days ago, but I still haven't received an answer, and I still haven't received the two bonusses from him.

It seems like both Joel Comm and Michael Cheney have a problem with the bonusses. For Joel Comm, in my case, he just didn't give well enough instructions as how to find everything, and for Michael Cheney, he just didn't deliver.

And the bonusses from Michael Cheney (hurry up and buy - you've got only two days) was the only difference from Joel Comm's normal offer and Cheney's.

I agree that Joel Comm's book is the most important, and that everything else is just bonuses. BUT I wouldn't have bought now, I would have prefered to wait untill next month, if it hadn't been for the bonuses from Michael Cheney.

Michael Cheney is as far as I know quite new, but earns 19 K$ a month with AdSense. He has made some videofiles about it. That was the first I heard about him. I joined his newsletter, and got this offer.

The MP3s are just an interview with him and another guy talking about what he was able to achieve with Ad Sense and creating his videos, etc.


In other words, you won't learn anything.

The PDF is worse.

It's basically one guy saying how he saw Michael Cheney's site so copied him and then Michael Cheney copied him and they both earned a lot.

No new info. Just basically, if you have something to sell, then make an offer to your list and include bonuses and have a time deadline before the price goes up, and find other people to sell your product and give them a good commission, etc.

I actually deleted the MP3s from my computer after listening to them.

They're not giving you anything you need to listen to again. Again, it's just an interview.

Oh... maybe the one thing you might learn ... on your ad sense pages make sure you have something you are giving to people in exchange for their email address, such as a newsletter, and be sure to follow up with these folks with information they want.

So, if someone lands on a page you created for specific topic, perhaps send them an email with a better page with more info about that topic, etc.

By developing relationships with these folks, should you ever launch a product you'll have a captive audience and make $300,000+ in sales of your product like Michael Cheney did.

But Joel Comm's bonus with a two years membership of some forum ... I didn't get that either. I could see in his book that this forum is for free.

We actually have several lists. They give some ... but most of them are Danish (one French), and I guess the real money is in the U.S.A. $300,000+? Almost impossible in Denmark, I would say.

Michael Cheney is in the U.K., and his product sales were International. I don't think it matters where you live if you have a product people want and launch it with the kind of splash he did.

Here's the problem.

I use two ecommerce solutions to make the book available.

My primary provider is 1shoppingcart.com. With this service, I am able to offer all the products and bonuses at one time.

However, the other provider is Clickbank. I use this because many of my affiliates like to promote the ebook through this site. The problem with Clickbank is that they only allow you to sell one item at a time.. so there is no way for me to put the bonuses into a cart!

That's why you have to go to another page and do a .01 purchase in order to get the bonuses. I have no other way to deliver the product and services to you.

I'm sorry for the incovenience... I wish there were a better way.

It was a Joel Comm-bonus, but I don't know if he always uses this book as a bonus.

Today I received the Michael Cheney-files -- from Joel Comm :-)

And my Adsense income has risen with 167 % after having introduced only one of Joel's tricks yet, so I'm not complaining ;-)

One of these is the Michael Cheney AdSense Videos, "a $97 value". All I received was a link to 2 free videos by Cheney, which conclude with an invitation to buy the full set of videos for $97.
So Joel, while I'm happy with the value of your book, where's the $97 value in this bonus?

Well, it DOES say a $97 value, not that he's selling them for 97 dollars. He couldn't because he has been given this video away for free earlier. But if this video is worth $97, I wonder, what I would get, if I actually purchased Michael Cheney's videos for $97. Same value?

This is the second time I get the feeling that Michael Cheney is not honest, and that he's just milking who ever he can reach. I do not trust him at all after this, and my guess is, his guru carreer will not last very long. I wouldn't put my name next to his in any kind of joint venture.

I haven't gone through the other bonuses, but I certainly hope they are worth more than Cheneys $97.

And I apologize for this. When we were pulling together bonuses, each provider sent me the title, a description and value. Honestly, with the schedule we were on, we took everyone's word for it.

Still, you have to admit that you got a LOT of bang for your buck!

I'll look closer if we run this kind of promo again in the future. Sorry if it caused anyone problems.

I have bought into both Michael Cheney's and Joel Comm's programmes and Joel's is better.

The only thing that was new that wasn't in Joel's is the idea of posting pictures over the larger header ad to make the ads stand out. Other than that, it was pretty weak. Joel's goes into more detail and covers more issues. Michael's is just the basics which could be found anywhere. Plus, with Cheney's stuff, it is all something you have to log into and be online to access the information. You can't actually keep a download of the main programme. It doesn't always co-operate if you are using a Firefox browser.

At least he kindly refunded my money.

I made the wretched mistake of buying The Adsense Code on order from Barnes & Noble. (the book itself I'm thrilled with, it's the process I'm disappointed with.) I actually intended to buy it at Amazon, but it said it "normally ships in 8-11 business days!" I didn't want to wait that long, and when B&N told me it should take them 2-4 business days to get it in, I jumped at it. It ended up taking about 10 days, anyway. I was dying to get my hands on this book and it was taking forever! I was calling EVERY day to find out if it had come in, because they don't call or e-mail you until the evening even though the books come in early in the day most of the time.

Anyway, after I paid full price of $24.95 for it, I checked Amazon and guess what? No more 8-11 day delay, it said it ships in 24 hours now. ARGH!

Then, to top it all off, I find out that IF I HAD ordered it from Amazon, not only would I have saved about $10 (not taking shipping into account, of course) but that I missed out on a TON of freebies! Apparently you only get the HUGE list of freebies if you order from Amazon. So I paid an extra $10 to get the same book with only a TINY fraction of the freebies. :(

Sadly, I lost my receipt, so I can't even take the book back to B&N to get a refund so I can turn around and order it from Amazon so I can get the REAL list of freebies. Boy was all that disappointing.

But at least the book itself wasn't a bit disappointing. I've read it twice and I carry it with me almost everywhere I go. :)

I never, ever bye with others than Amazon. They are really the best, both in USA, England and France. Haven't tried Germany yet.
