The new buzz. Here is the blueprint:
TAGS are the newest web innovation, they represent the "next generation" web experience. Yahoo Web 2.0, Google Coop, Technorati, Digg, del.icio.us, etc. are all involved in this, and have set up special directories.
Signing up for an account in these directories are easy and should be done.
When you post to your blog you include a tag that looks like this:
<a href="http://technorati.com/tag/KEYWORD" rel="tag">KEYWORD</a>
somewhere in your post.
After you post to your blog, with the TAG included, you ping these directories.
These directories are hungry for your tags, and will include and update your tags and links to your site.
These directories have PR 5 and higher (Google and Yahoo PR9) .
When Google's spiders go to these high PR directories, they will see your backlinks. PR5, and PR9 backlinks are VERY good for SERPs. I think you get the rest.
I have been experimenting with pretty good success.
Any feedback?
