I want to use Google Adwords program for advertising my website.

Main income source of my website is Google Adsense Program.

I invest money for Google Adwords. Can I get good return from Google Adsense program?

Please solve my problem using your experience.

I am actually just preparing an e-book product launch on this very subject, several months in the making, and I'm actually taking this week off to finish it, I will then go into pre-launch phase. As you've shown interest in this I will send you a free copy on launch day!
I will be recruiting affiliates for this product in the next week or so prior to launch so if anyone out there is interest in affiliate sales then please PM me your details. That said I will be visiting Cornwall in the UK to get some peace and quiet to finish the book so will have limited 'net access next week.
Cheers,

Hi sarpras,

The short answer is yes, you can make money using arbitrage (buying keywords for a low amount and getting clicks for a higher amount). But, it is not as easy as it seems.

For instance, let's assume you get a 20% AdSense clickthrough rate on your website. Your rate may be higher or lower. Let's also assume that you earn an average of 50 cents per click.

For 1000 visits to your site, you will get 200 clickthroughs worth a total of $100.

If you bought those 1000 visits through AdWords for 5 cents a click, they would have cost you $50 for a profit of $50. All is well...rinse and repeat.

But, what happens if your clickthrough rate was only 10%, or you only earned 25 cents average per click, or the clicks cost you 10 cents each (or all three). Now your earnings are gone and you are losing money on every click.

It can be done, but you have to be very careful. Make sure you place a small daily limit on your AdWords clicks when you begin, so you can make changes without getting hurt too badly if your keywords aren't working.

Hope this helps,

Ken MacKenzie

Just a couple of thoughts on this subject. I run a niche website and I am paying for about 70% of my traffic with Adwords and generating about 3-4 times what I pay in Adsense revenue. I think part of my success has been my target audience/visitors and the average revenue per click is about 6-7 times what I am paying for to get visitors to my site in the first place. So this system can work but in only select situations. Dave
