Adsense Search

Hi, i was hoping someone might be able to comment on their experience of using Adsense Search. I am particularly interested if the CTR% is near what you get for Adsense Google text ads. Ie, would one expect to earn 25-50% using Adsense Search of what you recieve for Adsense text ads?

I am concerned that it'll promote driving visitors away from the site and offer a lower ROI in terms of click cost.

Hi Walt...

Originally I just wanted to offer the Google Search as a service for my visitors.

But, I will admit it makes me a couple of bucks a day ($357 so far this year).

So, I like it plenty.

Also, as far as the CTR... we can't directly discuss this... however, in my case I find my CTR is higher than my AdSense CTR... but that's mostly because there are many fewer "querries" for the search function compared to the actual clicks.

But, all in all... I think it's worth having...
