This site seems to highlight the lead adv on the page.
Intereting idea but it seems against the TOS.

You're right... it's taking too far!
Google doesn't allow you to do that, so the webmaster needs to be reminded about it (or reported to Google)

Nicely done - but it's drawing undue attention to the ad, so yes - it breaks the rules.

Hi, I am the webmaster at IBlogForex. This is a fairly new website and if you could let me know what part of my Google ads would be deemed against the rule so that I can make the necessary correction, that would be really appreciated. I have also discovered this board because of this, so thank you, I think this will help me make my future sites better as well.

It's the frame around the Google ads with the text of "Google think you might be interested by this"
According to the ToS (have you read it?), it states that you may not give the Google ads the attention.
Welcome aboard, by the way!

Hi Tony,
Thank you for your nice welcome. I had read the TOS of course but it was a while before I actually made the website. I actually had got the idea to do this ad from a website giving aways tips and tricks to get more out of your google adsense. So I properly wrongly assume that this was acceptable. I have replaced it by my own banner now anyway. Thanks, Jon

highlight the lead adv on the page.
What does "lead adv" mean? I look at that page, but did notice anything that might be against the rules.

It's because he already removed it. :)

Yeah, unless it says "Sponsored Links" or "Advertisments".
So assume that you use those two or nothing.
Welcome IBlogForex. Good to see you've jumped in with both feet and made the changes as soon as you saw the misguided errors of your ways :)
