Hey everyone,
I found this great new way to blend in your google adsense ads by using tables and adding images on the side making the ads look like buttons on your website. You can check it out here (http://allaboutadsense.blogspot.com/). I found that images that stand out from your normal webpage tend to attract more clicks. So I made the images flashy and the rest of my site bland-like. The only problem is when google decides to show 3 ads and it looks messed up.
So what do you think?

That looks great, Diddy1! :) Just one question. I've of course heard of this technique, but I'm wondering where you find the images to make the buttons. I don't want to pay for stock photos. Yet, I also don't want to rip off someone else's image. I suppose that public photos on Flickr, etc. are up for grabs. But there are very few which are pertinent to my site.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Andrea

When I read what you said I was a bit... hmmmm, skeptical.
But then I saw it and yes, it looks great.
And also within the Adsense TOS.
At least the way I've interpreted it.

I suppose that public photos on Flickr, etc. are up for grabs.
Unless it's implied that they are public domain or royalty free, then no.
If I found a photo of you and used it to endorse my product or service I'm pretty sure you'd not be impressed with me, even if you published it online for the world to see ;)

Well I don't have to tell you that the image has to look like a button, but the dimentions are 50 by 50. ANd a good place I've found is this site called http://www.templatemonster.com/free-web-elements/
They have a good free graphix part. And if you spend a wee bit of cash get so much more.
Thank You

A relatively inexpensive way to get some great graphics is iStockPhoto (http://www.istockphoto.com). You can buy the rights to images (photos and illustations) for anywhere from $1-10 each. Some of the illustrations you can purchase contain many useable images, making them really inexpensive.
