Hey Gang,

I have watched these forums grow over the past year and I see that there is more conversation tending towards other ways of making money online. I don't have a problem with that, as AdSense is just one revenue stream.

I am thinking about renaming the forums and encouraging a much broader range of conversation in the internet marketing and online opportunity niches.

What are your thoughts? Would you like to see the forums renamed with more topics of discussion? Or should we stay with AdSense as the primary focus?

Sure Joel, the more the merrier. Obviously, the name of the entire forum tends toward Adsense, but a good website pulls from multiple sources.

Also, this will open up to more people with great ideas.

Good websites should bring more money in from stuff than from Adsense -- the Adsense revenue is for people that leave your site because they didn't find what they wanted. Coming and going...

Also, as you branch out with other ideas as well, like Word Clouds (http://www.500thingstodo.com), I think it's fitting for you to have a place to experiment and brainstorm.

I think expanding would relly help the forums blow up. After all even though we have one subject there is a lot of things that go hand to hand with it.

It's good to have one forum focused on one thing. There are plenty other forums who have a lot of sections, this one is only or AdSense and it's good, now if you want to change that, do it.

Leave it - I can't imagine the amount of spam and useless information there would be on this forum if you didn't keep it just about AdSense like the domain implies. The spam is getting out-of-hand as it is... I already find myself spending less & less time here.

I'd like to see it left as an Adsense authority site.

However, you could add another group beneath the 'General Discussion' group for this if you really wanted to but leave the Adsense groups intact

There are barely any "pure" adsense forums left!

Keep this as it is Joel, if anyone wants to learn more about the wider affiliate marketing world then visit my forum (which contains nothing about adsense).
Also Joel you refered people to another affiliate marketing forum a few days ago, so why copy them - stick with this as it is and keep it pure.

I belong to a lot of broadbase business forums and the real experts get swollowed up by junk.
Keeping this simple allows me to locate the correct information I am searching for. A beginer like myself gets lost with all the self proclaimed gurus out there.
This forum is great don't fix it!
