Very little content now, so I feel like the ads are 'heavy', but they should even out with more content. The site, and ad layout, is using the same layout I use at my main blog, ray.camdenfamily.com, which brings in decent enough money.

The only thing I can think of would be to try moving the adlinks to just below the date.

For the center ad box under the 1st blog post, I'd line it up better with the post body. Such as...

My padding and margin may be off a bit, but you get the idea.. Top margin set to - will move the ad block up a bit to bump it next to "Posted At"... May need -5 or so.. Play around and see if it looks good.

BTW, I like the Link Unit at the top how it is at this moment. Makes it look like a menu and no doubt will promote clickage.. However it could benefit from a margin-top:-3 or so, too, to center it more in the white space.

Sorry, been busy today with the site I was asking about a couple of days ago in another thread. We finally have some original content up!

I was thinking that it would probably be looked at more often if you place it below the date as most people will mark that point in their minds as the start of the post. Thus, I'm thinking that eyes will be drawn toward that spot.

I think the point I'm trying to make is that it will get more eyeballs if it appears to better integrated into the post itself instead of sitting "above it all" (both figurative and actually).

Now it makes more sense. I think I'll try it with my main blog first since the Adoption Blog doesn't have much traffic (yet).
