I can't get the revenue over .05 per visitor on my site. Is it too busy? I should mention that the affiliate links that remain are the ones that proved to pay more than the average adsense click.

It all depends upon the traffic you get to your site and the relevancy of the AdSense ads. If you don't have a lot of traffic then it's very hard to make decent money with AdSense. If you have a new site or new URL's then AdSense has to learn over time what are the most relevant ads and the best performing ads. This takes time and can range from a few months to six months or more depending upon the amount of visitors to your site.

Have you tried putting adsense at the top of the page below the navigation to se if that helps? That would help CTR.

Perhaps people aren't paying much for the keywords you are targeting so you only get a cent or two per click?

Have you tried removing the right tower and replacing it with one of the rectangles. Then, have the page text flow around it so that while people are reading the page they "run into" the AdSense. Goal is to make them seem more a part of - rather than separate from - the content.
