Hey
I have been working with adsense since the day it was released..

I have earned from $1000 a month to $15,000 a month..

I was originaly getting a lot of traffic from google for a lot of high paying click terms but when the sandbox was introduced I lost a lot of my positions in google for many keywords and therefore my adsense income went down drasticly..I was making anything from $150-$450a day with my adsense, then I went down to $50 a day because I lost my positions..

I tried to get new sites back into google with no luck.. So I moved to yahoo because it is easier to get a position in than google though u can take a zero off all your stats because yahoo does not generate anywhere near as much traffic as google can..

In the past few months I have managed to get my traffic up as high as it was when I was in google...

BUT I am making no where near as much per click in yahoo as I was in google for the same keywords..

My question is: Do google give you more $ per click if the traffic is coming google than if the traffic is coming from somewhere else?

I would be interested to know...
Thanks
Grant

My reply would be I don't believe so. There really is no way to tell, but I believe that Google uses a combination of keyword density and relevance to your site to determine how much you will be paid.

Also, when reading between the lines, it appears that the higher your site ranks on Google for the keywords for which your ads are displayed, the higher revenue you will make.

I don't believe this is correct.

I might be wrong, and if so I would like to know.

But a person puts a bid on a keyword and you are paid a percentage of that. It doesn't matter where the visitor comes from. The bidder pays the same amount for every click, period.

U say" it appears that the higher your site ranks on Google for the keywords for which your ads are displayed, the higher revenue you will make"

So does that mean if your traffic is coming from anyware but google you will
recieve less revenue per click...

I think that if your traffic is coming from yahoo or somewhere other than google they will probably put you in the same catergory as someone who is ranked lowdown in google for that keyword.. commision wise that is..!?
