I'm not sure what you mean either. But in future can you use Sentence case or Title Case for your headings. Not that crazy thing you've got happening.
---===> Ad ReVeNuE ShArInG MeSsAgE BoArD?
Also, there's no need for this: ---===>

i think he means. Were members go on eachothers sites and click on ads that they find intresting. Another forum is doing this and members love it. They have contacted google about ti and they said that its ok. As long as you are "intrested" in it.
I would love to see this in effect. It would help forum out alot :D
I'm sitting here in stunned disbelief.

That's called Click Fraud.

that is why most members only do it if intrested in what the ad is about. I didnt say do it even if your not intrested in what the ad is about.. now that is click fraud.
But the community taking a look at the ads avaible and clicking on the ones that they like.. thats not click fraud. Just people actually consider the ads.

That's just people convincing themselves it's not click fraud. In the hope that others click on their ads thereby gaining them illgotten revenue.

Don't expect this forum to add such a category anytime soon. Even if you think it would somehow help the forum out a lot.

That link takes me to a page about advertising at digitalpoint.com. So I don't think it has anything to do with Ad Revenue Sharing.
And a word of advice, don't get caught up in any click exchange program whether it be via a forum or other means. It is fraud. And Google will ban you for it.

oh.. am sorry for not making my points directly... i assumed that you guys already heard about the "ad revenue sharing" on forums...
it's a modification available for forums that enables members to have their adsense displayed on the forum for threads they've started 50% of the time... so it's like the webmaster and thread starter are having their 50-50 chances of earning...
yeah... just like what dp is having... the link is here for more information...

Interesting. Though Google seem to have a problem with Adsense on sites that have 'adsense' in the domain name.
So I can't imagine it happening here.
If I were to run a site that is doing what digitalpoint is doing I would have it set up so only established and trusted members could partake in the program.

To start when I read this post I first thought 'Clickfraud' then after reading it again a few times I checked out the digitalpoint thread and saw who was running it 'shawn' the main moderator with 19,170+ posts I thought it required a bit more investigation. In essence this liek code sharing which I know more than a few people use. Only thing being the thread doesn't detail exactly how they do this? So if anyone has any ideas? I am semi-technical so a plain English e-mail of how this is done on a forum would be appreciated. As the digitalpoint forum ran to 24 pages clearly more than a few people have thoughts on this.
Let the games/comments begin!

As I understood, after you post 50+ posts there, ads with your adsense ID start to rotate on the posts you started in 50% cases.
That's completely new to me also; I also wonder is it OK by google?
As for that forum, they are for real.
I'm a member here since august 2005 (according to logs)
I'm a member over there since september 2005 (according to their logs)
I remember I found them and joined them because of their very high position on "SEO forum" in google, so that's gotta be worth something...

I actually now agree big time on this one, this is not Clickfraud as I first thought (Particularly if YOU DO NOT ASK OTHERS TO CLICK ON YOUR OWN ADS), this is Adsense sharing, in it's clearest form as only one adsense user can appear on any one page.
:) I am nearly there on implenting on my site, but be warmed it isn't easy to implement, and to be honest I'm not so worried about using it to gain ad revenue as I am to use it to expand the forum (Reciprocal links - offfered and saught, hint, hint). The more people post the more people join and so on. Using the method they talkabout (And I can demonstrate it here). Your posts will increase, BUT The reason you want toask for 50 posts (not me I'll be asking for 15-20 due to the size of my forum) in order to stop the spammers (I Commonly get 5 per day so I guess Joel gets 2-300)
I am working on a little free guide as to how to ad implement adense of CJ banners on just about any forum site. I will be posting this on my own site and here very soon.
If you are interested in any of the above then PM me and I'll raise a page with the details on my forum (Gratis as ever!)
Cheers,
Dickie

From their FAQ...
Is this allowed by Google?
I have gone over the AdSense terms and conditions a few times (both the Overview and the legal version), and I'm not able to find anything to suggest that it's not allowed. But if you know (or believe) otherwise, I would like to hear from you.
It would be good if DP actually contacted Google and got back a clear answer. In my opinion I don't see it being a problem. But to be 100% certain it's not hard to fire off a email to the Google Team.
I've been a member over at Digital Point since November 2005.

The only thing that scares me is if you make a member mad or perhaps a couple members, and they know that it is your adsense id on a given thread. They might try to sabotage your account, by excessively clicking on your ads, or by other means...

That's probably a very real concern. Maybe the real purpose behind the whole idea is to keep people inline and not tick off other members :)

Thats actually happened a bunch of times. As i am on there constantly and read a few things about people having that problem. But not so much on having it on the forums but people getting your link and click bombing you.
