Hey All!

It use to be you B & P a site and it'll get indexed in 2 or 3 days. Nowadays, that doesn't seem like the case.

I've read in other forums similar experiences and found a hint or two such as placing the emphasis in pinging or using a multiple B & P strategy.

For me, I'm still using Instant Blog and Ping to try to get my pages spidered, but it's limited to pinging only Yahoo and pingomatic.

So the question is: does anyone have better tool or a more effective strategy to use with B & P?

Warmly,

Joseph

Hi Joseph,

There's lots of discussion on various tools and strategies at the thread, "Automated Blog & Pinging." Or if you do a forum search on

100% Blogging Solution

you should land at the same place.

I've been using BAM (blog auto machine) and I've been consistently locked out of blogspot.

ALSO....

if someone gets really snarky with you they could report your site to google as a spam/ad site. NOT GOOD.

The solution...just take five minutes a day and post to your own blog, i suppose.

I've had good success using this Blog n Ping (http://lvindex.com/host/programs/I-BlognPing.html) program. It's has ugly icons but works like no one's business! At the moment this little jewel is pumping 40 blogs all at the same time. I've tried some that are 3 times more $ than this program and it could only ping one blog at a time, which of course I had to get my money back. This was another program by Alders Blogger-Equalizers with lots of hype and no guts.

Anyways, to enjoy a bit more success from Blog n Ping I would suggest taking the following steps even IF your software is pinging yahoo.

I don't suggest posting 3 every 15 minutes, as this method got all my blogs deleted. 1 every 100 minutes is working just fine.

After setting up the blog at Blogger.com, simply open an account at Yahoo.com and click the link of MyYahoo and where it says to add content on the bottom of the page, click then look for the little tini link that says Add RSS by URL then add atom.xml page from Blogger.com there. So everytime the blog software makes a post then it's loaded into yahoo to get the sites spidered at full speed.
