I've just been reading through the premise of the new Ad Network launched 27 Jan which LOOKS like it means business and seems to have a plan to provide a real rival to Adsense whilst offering a fairer deal for publishers and advertisers.
I guess it makes sense to get in on the ground floor -- the 10,000 beta membership looks likely to fill quickly -- and may be worthwhile having this alternative up your sleeve to trial on some pages of a site you are building -- or onr you plan to build. Always nice not to have 'all your eggs' in one Google based basket I suppose.
I just posted a quick article on my own new review site 'Happy To Recommend' if it's of any interest. I can only say I read the details myself, and liked what they had to say -- and with nothing to lose it looked like a no brainer to jump in and get 'join the first wave'...
Naturally I suppose the other option would be to sit back and wait for Joel to 'publish his next e-book' :) about this additional 'player' in the Ad network ball-park...Unless you (or maybe me :D ) writes it sooner! Worth a look anyway I reckon --- but I'd be pleased to hear any feedback from others as I may well be 'late to the party' (as usual) after all it was launched 2 days ago!! ;) ...Are you already a 'fan' or otherwise?
