Well since this is general discussion and it's what I am currently best at then I thought I'd just jump right in and start some discussions. :D :p

Who is your current favorite band?

Mine is Seether.

And not only am I weird, but I'm old...so you'll have to take anything I say with a grain of salt. :rolleyes:

There aren't many bands or artists out there these days (wow...i even SOUND old!) that catch my interest at all, but:

- Train has had a couple really decent songs
- I have a lot of respect for Switchfoot
- John Mayer is very talented, but needs to broaden his writing style to keep my interest
- Maroon 5's first hit was excellent

But, in terms of artists I still love going back 15 years or so:

- The Rippingtons (instrumental)
- David Benoit (instrumental)
- old James Taylor music (ulp...that's more than 15 years...my age is showing again!)
- Phil Keaggy's instrumental stuff

So...no favorite BANDS for me. I'm more of a "great songs" guy.

I don't have a favorite band but I like some songs
from Aerosmith like "I don't wanna miss a thing",
(reminds me of Liv Tyler who looks like my ex-gf)
"Crazy", Bon Jovi and others that are mellow rock
not hard rock. I don't like hip-hops, it is "Crazy"
as Aerosmith says! :D
