Hi everyone,

I've read through Joel's book several times and have made most of the changes recommended. I even did a little SEO work and added, "anchor text" to my images and added few new keywords. This site hovers around 100,000 page views a month and 300-400 unique's a day so its not like it's a dead site. Yet my adsense daily average is $2 if I'm lucky.

Any help is appreciated.

nice job on the site theme...
its really easy to navigate and suprisingly the spacous layout seems to work well
i really really need to sit down one day and design something.
ive tried to use GetAFreelancer.com (http://getafreelancer.com/projects/PHP-Website-Design/PHPBB-Custom-Theme-The-Ripoff.html) but the average bid is $85, and with the $.11 a day coming in right now thats nowhere in my budget right now.

If you are on a real tight budget PHPBB is a good choice. There are some really good themes already out there for PHPBB. Have you checked those out? If your going to spend $85 get a vBulletin license and I can hook you up with some good themes for free.

i dont plan on spending the $85, and i plan on sticking with phpbb, ive learned to know it so well know that its not the time to change.

but it seems every time i come across one i like it just doesnt seem to be what im looking for.
im so used to the default phpbb template which looks great, that im not sure if my users will like a new theme i choose.
