If being listed in Google and having a high page rank on Google is important to you, be careful not to have any scripts that will inadvertently create pages without the appropriate content. We think the reason for our de-listing is one of our scripts that dynamically created millions of pages based on real time user searches upset one of the staff at Google or tripped a flag in their current algorithm. Either that or someone with no life complained to them about something. We didn't even notice at first as we have so much traffic from other sources. I guess it's a balance between having the freedom to have your site work the way you would like and kissing Google's ass to get a little more traffic. This script (http://webdatapower.com/portal) created massive amounts of traffic and still does and many people find it to be a useful tool for finding the real time most popular keywords, so I guess we can't complain too much. :)

Yes, it is a script that was developed in house.

I don't understand - Do you mean Google punishes the sites with keywords list or all the sites which content changes with every reload?

We don't know the exact reason. Many other sites including Google, other search engines and Alexa use the same technique to display real time user searches and popular search terms.
