Hello to all,
Although I have yet to build a website, I hope to learn much from the forum and am happy about the conditions surrounding life-time membership (Thanks Joel - you are most kind).
Am excited to learn that one can earn some extra money by having links to other websites, and I hope someday to be up and running with a website. I welcome any pearls of wisdom from the forum members. I have been the computer field since the mid 1970's, working most with IBM mainframes. I am what you call a dinosaur - and I was very reluctant to give up my dumb terminal for a PC.... Boy, I wish now I wasn't so stubborn since I could have been "with the program" years sooner! I currently work as a production support analyst for a major health insurance company since 1989 - My present hours of operation are approximately from 8PM to 4 or 5AM in the morning. I am a permanent work-at-home employee (going on over 2 years now) so I love my commute up a flight of stairs (especially with gas and diesel prices these days). The the trip back down is a breeze as well.
Well, I will sign off now since I do have a long commute back downstairs!
Take care all, and am looking forward to reading the posts.
