Good afternoon all,

I am new to the forum. Thank you for setting this forum up. It is extremely helpful and great to see so many willing to help each other.

I am relatively new to SEO and would like to know the best methods for getting my various web sites indexed to the SE.

Also what are the best methods for obtaining links from higher page ranked sites that does not cost a fortune?

I understand it is all about linking and having a variety of links point to your site.

Is it important to have sites that point to yours that share the niche or topic of your site?

Any tips on article submissions?

Thank you in advance for your help

Kerry

Try goarticles.com and articlecity.com. I've recently posted some articles and had good luck with goarticles. I'm still waiting on artilclecity.

A friend of mine ( a good writer) was rejecte dby articlecity. I guess we'll see what happens with my articles.

linkmarket.net has been very useful for linking to high PR sites.

Articles are a good way of promoting your site. The two sites mentioned by RAd are very good - you might also want to try http://ezinearticles.com/ - another good article site.

I use linkmetro.com for links and have had some really good links come from them.
