Hi,

I wasn't sure which part of the forum this might go in best, so forgive me if this isn't the right place for the thread.

I am learning a bit about SEO right now, in conjunction with some affiliate marketing websites I plan to build.

Wordtracker was highly recommended to me as a source for finding/sorting keywords for websites. The nifty thing about Wordtracker is that you can pay for a subscription as short as one day, or one week, one month, or a year.

I subscribed for a week last Saturday. No problems at all Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. But when I've tried to log in today, nothing I do can persuade their login page to accept my username and password.

And when I try to submit a help ticket through their contact page, the server almost always times out.

My immediate question -- do any of you use Wordtracker, and if so, have you had any problems today? And if you've had to file a trouble ticket in the past, how responsive are they?

I sent email to their support address a couple of hours ago, and still haven't gotten the issue resolved.

Thanks for any thoughts, feedback, etc., you might have.

I use Word Tracker and I've had some of your headaches. It's a really valuable source but man...if you have a technical problem you can just forget about getting any help. I had some login problems just like you and it took them weeks to sort it out and it wasn't even my fault! What can you do, though? You really need the type of information that they offer. Without it you're just shooting in the dark.

Thanks for the comments.

Yup, Wordtracker looks pretty good to me, too, and it's heartening to hear that Adsense people use the service. And, yup, it's so unique that you're sort of at their mercy when things mess up.

FYI -- a support manager got back to me on the second day. Seems I did such a large amount of searching my first couple of days that it triggered some sort of sentry software that locked down my account.

The support manager straightened out the problem and extended my subscription a couple of days.

I'm thinking about buying the Traffic On Steroids program to get some good rotating content. Anybody else here use it and if so...what do you think?

I used Word Tracker until I found the Good Keywords tool (http://www.goodkeywords.com). I've used it for a couple months now and have no complaints. It's free too. :)
