Learn from the guy who's done the hard work for you...

If you have little confidence in those "High Paying Keyword Reports", you have not got the time to research yourself or you're just looking for some new inspiration - then here's an interesting URL for you...

[removed by request]

I must stress I have NO affilliation to this site in anyway (I just came across it by accident when I was seraching form something on Google).

It uses a basic (and not recommended) approach of (alledgedly) providing information on all sorts of interesting (yet high paying :D ) topics, then takes the visitor to one page scattered with Ads, with a little paragrpah down at the bottom on the topic itself.

It's not the actual site or format that I'm recommending - but some of the topics on the list.

The IT related topics (my area of interest) are indeed good payers (because I did some searching and checking last week of my own). They match up.

So, I thought I would share this with y'all on AdSense!

I hope the topics help you with ideas for your site...

Regards, :)

I've found most of the keyword lists out there are pretty ridiculous. Not that the data isn't decent (much of it is)... But to pay $85 or somesuch for 10,000 keywords when I really only am looking for the right word combinations on a particular topic.... Blech.

Anyhooo, I launched a travel site a few months back and wanted to find good travel keywords (is it better to write about Africa? Canada? Hawaii? Which generates the best ads?)... Had a devil of a time...

Sooo, I figured-- I'm a web geek. I can solve this problem... I wrote a little app at http://www.iotaweb.org - it's basically a search engine ONLY for high dollar adsense keywords (also links to Overture/Yahoo results as well)....

Anyhoo, feel free to check it out. ;-)

Very interesting, your site has gained a place among my favorites :)

A couple of things I noticed, some results are showing up more than once (search for "Linux", for example, "Linux Hosting" shows up twice.

I have been using overture to try and find high(ish) paying keywords related to my web site's topic (Linux OS and Java programming language), your site is even better.

Would you mind telling us how do you find the Adsense values for the keywords? I thought G kept those values hush hush (And I see why, if they reveal them then everybody and their mother would be writing web sites targetting those keywords).

Thanks,
Ensode

Hey All-

In response to questions about http://www.iotaweb.org :

1) Duplicate records - Yaw, I noticed that too. I'll do a purge.

2) Where do I get the CPC figures? - Anyone with an Adwords account (DIFFERENT than Adsense account!) can type in a phrase to get estimated CPC. Obviously, these #s change all the time, so the numbers at my site are virtually always off a bit. I don't update too often (every few months). I got the keywords (NOT the values) from a few of the more respected keyword lists.

I've gotten some great traffic of late. Thanks mucho for the kind words!

Warm regards,
