Hello,

Almost in for 6 months now, and still don't quality to receive a monthly check. What's wrong? Tweaked here and there, and seen improvements, but has it bottomed up? My unique visitors is over 600 a day.

I don't know what else to do except to start a new website. (which btw I'm doing :) )

Please critic my site http://www. world war 2aces .com

Please remove the spaces in between. I spaced it so it won't be spidered by Search Engines.

Also, I was wondering, I've been busy day and night for the past few months building a second website. Its still about a month away and the primary objective is to increase adsense revenue.

I've put in a lot of effort, but am I doing the right thing by building a history site?
Please visit my upcoming website http://www. uboat aces .com
and tell me if there's any chance or am I just totally off track?
There are still some broken links, but when complete, all pages would be linked up with lots of info.

Thank you

Cheers

You only have one Adsense unit, and it is way below the fold.

It seems like a viable site, but try a larger ad unit at or near the top. Have you seen the Google Adsense heatmap? it is a helpful guide, available from google.

I would definitely use all three of your allowed adsense units, possibly keep the adwords unit, but consider repositioning it. Leave the one Adsense unit where it is, but add another, larger unit at the top. You've done an OK job with color blending.

Good luck!

One thing...

The scope of your niche seems extremely narrow- one model of german Tank.

Given your domain name, I expected more, broader content. Your site seems like it should be one page of a much larger site.

Thanks. I think I see where you're coming from.
Yes, I will plop one right on the center according to G's heatmap.
And increase the units to 3 per page.
Golly, that was a simple idea, which I just couldn't figure.
Thanks again.

The tank site has great content but I think you're missing opportunities to put Ad sense ads in the content .... you just don't have enough ads on this site .... the ads at the bottom are all but missed altogether ...

The uboat site is MUCH better .... I like the ads along the right side... you have excellent content .... have you checked your keyword density for the keywords you are trying to rank for in the search engines?

good luck and keep up the good work ...

making the text on your page the same as Adsense. Times new roman and Arial look very different.

Also, you use two different fonts on your site. It looks more professional if you use one.

Finally, how about using the ad formats that perform best? Large rectangle and leaderboard should work fine.

Good luck from another newbie,

Haakon

Thanks for the help. ketdk & haakonu

As you had suggested, I will place a large rectangle somewhere in the center. And maybe another banner type at the bottom. But can do it only this weekend.

Problem is, last time when I placed two ad units, there weren't enough ads to show and sometimes the top ad just shows a blank. This made me remove the bottom ad on all pages, so at least something will always show at the top. But I will try to implement the rectangle and retest again.

The uboat site is still under development. Busy writing content now, but will seo it in time. Its reassuring to know you think its a good site. Have been building it for almost six months now, and still about another month away from launching.

Thanks again for sharing and good luck to us all.
