I saw some sites that allow you to place your own adsense code on thier site, for a portion of your earnings?

First question, is this worth it?

Second question, how would they know what your earnings are?

Third question, anyone else here do that and have it work out for them?

Why would sites offer this?

Interested in others opinions and experiances...:D

Hi, I have a site which does this, it's senserely.com

is it worth it? probably not on senserely.com but there are many adsense revenue sharing sites, so you can join them all and blog blog blog and share videos.. In the end it will be worth it, but one important thing is that you can create backlinks from those sites to yours.

second question: they can't know what are your earnings.

sites would offer this because it let other people than the webmaster create content for the site and the webmaster has an overall higher share than most members, except for the most active members.

On senserely I earn 20% of pages displays. The 80% are for members, they share depending on several factors such as popularity of their pages and number of pages they have.

As an aside note, have you noticed that in your adsense admin there is a new thing, it's ALLOWED SITES, it means now at last you can specify which sites are allowed to display your adsense publisher id, it's good for the most paranoid amongst us.

Funny thing is I am trying to recruit Bloggers for adsense revenue sharing on my Foodexec.com site.

So if you or someone you know is in the food industry and wants to blog about food check out This info Page (http://foodexec.com/bloggers_needed)and sign up.

As it stands now I am doing a 50/50 split on the ad displays. If a blog were to be brining in lots of traffic I would be willing to talk with that blogger about a higher percent for their ad displays.

To attract people you need more than 50/50 or you need to have a proven good traffic in the first place.
You could even give 100% of adsense revenue on their own blog post pages, it's a motivation and the rest of the pages such as search or front page would be yours.

On senserely I choose to use the general pages for adsense sharing too, based on a point system, but most other sites share only the user's own pages.

You are most likely right about the ratio. I have bumped it up to an 80/20 split. I am also still willing if a person has a blog that brings in lots of traffic to up that bloggers ratio to a higher one.

First question, is this worth it?
It is, if you want to publish original content. And the site itself does get traffic already.

Second question, how would they know what your earnings are?
It shows up in your own Adsense account.

Third question, anyone else here do that and have it work out for them?
Yes, I use Hubpages. I've also started writing articles on how to use Hubpages: http://hubpages.com/_learn/hub/howhubworks

Why would sites offer this?
Incentive. Plain and simple. They're doing it as a business and want to make money, to make money they need content. To get content they need to attract quality people to publish their stuff.

Good post. vb operates a similar policy but they have 40k+ members, must be reaping it in!
