Neat & Free utility (and no this isn't an affiliate link) just a neat free tool. Run your site past it and you get a list of the speed your site takes to download on 14.4k,56k, adsl etc. If your sites taking longer than 30 secs then it's tiem to review the size of the graphics on your site.
