My site http://www.All-About-Sweet-Potatoes.com went live Spring 2005. Just getting started with AdSense and money starting to trickle in at $1 a day.

Your site is interesting to me.

I have never seen a site devoted to Sweet Potatoes before :)

Tips for your Ads.

Move that ads to the top of the page. The user should not have to scroll
to see the ads.

From my testing (336x280) seems to work the best on my sites.

You can put the code into a table and right align the table to make
your content follow around the table.

You can see an example of the at my site http://www.home-mortgage-resources.com

I am currently testing inline tower block on a long article.

Hi, I really like your site. Very clean, and so, potato. Sweet potato!

Your ads look clean, and inviting. Have you tried slipping a couple ads in down the left column? I think that may be a good place if you format them to be pleasant and not irritating.

Good job so far.

Hi,
I like the idea behind your site and it's good to learn something new every day! I think you might want to place a wide "banner"-like ad, under your web site title. You can see an example of what I mean here:

I think that will up the clicks a lot. Let us know how the changes go!

I appreciate everyone's feedback and will be incorporating your suggestions. I had placed some ads at the top of my pages just under the title but removed them after a couple of days because I thought the placement would interfere with key words searches being done by the engines. I looked at each of your sites; I like your concepts/designs/content. :)

Question - Do blue-colored ad links (advertised service/product) work better?

You have a very interesting niche site. One thing I suggest and I think others have suggested too is to put your adsense code higher up on the page. Normally, in my experience, blue ads work better because that is the standard on the Internet and is what most people are used to clicking on but I am not an expert in that field. It has worked for me, however. Good luck with your site! :)

I noticed that you used Site Build It to make your site. Are you pleased with how it worked out? I am currently working on a site with them and wanted to know how easy it was to put Adsense on the site. So far I have heard nothing but good things about them. Thanks

I think SBI is great. Easy to use and adding Adsense ads has been straight-forward. Just put the script into the text blocks.
