I don't think that it will change blogging necessarily. It may even be bad for blogs pushing them out of the mainstream search-engines.

It will be interesting to see how Google distinguishes between a 'blog' and other web content

I recently searched with it, it's cool, but why not just create another tag for example: blog:www.theblahbrain.com or blog:www.blogname.com

like you do when you only want to see pages from just ONE webpage...

*sigh* I guess it's just their way of making things easier for people since not everyone knows that you can narrow your search results and ACTUALLY make it easier for yourself to find things..

filetype:fireworks .jpg - searches for images with the word fireworks in it but will only show images that are in jpeg format!

muahaha, behold the power of google search, most just dont know...
