It's a nice looking site. I guess you just have to experiment with the positioning of the ads when it goes live.

There's a couple of spelling errors - or typos - in your keywords. Maybe you did this deliberately?

As this is an XSP site you'll probably find it does quite well on MSN, even after a relatively short period.

On the left side, include a linkunit. Make sure the fonts are the same as the linkunit (Arial, 11 px) and make them look similar.

Add two adunits (large squares) in the middle of your page. Make them blend in with the background. Adding some pictures between, above or below the ads is a good idea, but make sure to add a dark line that separates images from ads.

Also, make certain that your whole site looks similar to the Adsense-ads.

Your page is too wide. I had to scroll to see the adsense skyscraper.

This is most likely caused by putting your logo adjacent to that banner, either 1) shrink the logo (significantly), 2) lose the banner, or 3) redesign the layout to make the width tighter.
