I gave up on adwords a few months ago after the major change in pricing pushed my keywords up from 4c to $5. Anyone who has stuck with adwords care to comment on how they have found keyword bidding in the last couple of months? Has your bid price gone up or down?
Answers on a (virtual) postcard please,
Night,

Was that caused by a change in pricing or was it a Google "slap"? My husbands campaign was smacked with the $5 thing. I thought it was because his ad wasn't relevant to the landing page. Not that there was anything wrong with were he sent the ad, just that the page had very little content. It was his home page. Very nice site, very pretty, but no content.

I may be really out to lunch here so set me straight please.

No, it hit everyone, regardless of content, all they are interested in is what ou are prepared to pay per keyword for traffic, I doubt very much that they look at all at the content of your site, given the volumes they deal in it would be just unmanageable to review every keyword vs destination site.

I read somewhere that it is better to buy "adwords" so to speak on MSN than on Google. The reason it that users of MSN are more likely to click on a "sponsored" ad, where google users are more likely to click on "organic" ads.

Do you have any idea if there is truth in this? I appreciate your input?
