What about doing something serious about the spam? This is becoming ridiculous.
Joel, invest some of your money in upgrading the forum script, adding a captcha, setting rules for link posting for new users or something like that...

Don't forget your ebooks are still redirecting new readers to this adsensechat.com, what do you think they're thinking about it (and about you) when they see this amount of spam in all directions?

The spam here is epidemic. Between Apple iphones, Nokia phones. Please guys, I am visiting this forum less and less. It has become spam infested!

Well, there's always been the excellent adsense forums over at digital point:

but I kind of liked it here too, it was way less busy and more focused. But hasn't been good for months, since there were so many real adsense newbies who can't even spell english and who use blogger only and wanted us to review their ****ty copied&pasted blogs.. and then all this spam too.
Moderators are working a little it seems, removing spam links and such, but I guess they're not paid for this job and have better things to do anyway.

Yes, its a volunteer position. And due to some time constraints I might drop in once or twice a week.

Agreed with sense (okay sense I have no beef with you, been away for a few months, person who stole my boat sadly got beaten to death - I kid you not...Finally video footage of me at Le Mans with 200k+ witnesses, yours truly FINALLY found on video at start line proved I was like 400 miles away when it happened).
1) Right - this spam, it either ends or this forum dies. Okay I suggest this, it's crude, non-tactical but it works. Every time this ipod, iphone or idiot puts up a post, everyone else put post a new topic above it, bury 5 times and then some more. DO NOT respond to it.
2) Joel - sort this spam out, I've only just logged on and am appalled at what I saw today. THE FIRST SIX CATEGORIES WERE ALL SPAM - If you want to be built up as a Guru then be prepared to be taken down just as fast! Stop making videos for a day and FOCUS on this forum. I reckon just about every single person on this forum has bought 1 or more of your books. Either that or sell me this forum for $1 and I'll sort it out!

From time to time, I clean up the spam, and so does Reprobate. It's a rewardless job, but when I logon here, I usually clean up the spam.

But honestly this forum is not what it used to be, speaking from a quality of posts.

How about you get Joel to get rid of the 90% of the admins and mods that are totally inactive and get a few more active mods! SPAM is a great way to kill a forum.

If you'd like, I could go hunting for them. I am hunting for someone else right now and I could add this 'Ben33' to my hitlist. I have a lot of anger and I think that I could get leniency for breaking laws with Ben33 when I catch him because he is a spammer.
