Way back last year I wrote on my Creative Writing site that it is believed there are only seven original story lines in the world and that every other story lines flows from them. Now how true that is I don’t really know. But I do know you can apply the same principle to marketing – there are not that many original marketing ploys around. What's your opinion?

Anyway I’ve had this blog up and running now for some months and to be quite honest it is going nowhere fast. While doing some casual research I happened upon a Forum and then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

One of the topics was entitled Jokes and I suddenly realized why don’t I do that to My Irish Blog (http://worldwide-infomedia-services.com/humour/a-bit-of-craic/) after all everyone seems to have their favourite ‘Irishman’ joke

I point my browser in the direction of the great G - Googled 'Irish Jokes,' and in no time at all I had the makings of an ongoing post, something I could update two three times a day if I wanted!!

Visit My Irish Blog (http://worldwide-infomedia-services.com/humour/a-bit-of-craic/) to see what I mean.

Now if you do happen to point your browser in my direction feel free to share your favourite Irish joke – but remember it is a family blog!

To encourage you to visit here's a taster:

The Cardinal And The Frog

A newly appointed Cardinal was walking the gardens of the Vatican by a stream when he noticed a sad looking frog sitting on a toadstool

“What’s wrong with you?” asked the Cardinal.

“Well,” said the frog, “the reason I am so sad on this fine day is because I wasn’t always a frog.”

“Really!” said the Cardinal. “Can you explain!”

“Once upon a time I was one of the most beautiful women in Rome. I too was walking through this garden when I was confronted by the Devil. ‘Let me pass!’ I yelled, but to no avail. The Devil called me a cheeky little girl and with a flash of his tail, turned me into this frog you see before you.”

“That’s an incredible story” said the Cardinal. “Is there no way of reversing this spell which the Devil has cast upon you?.”

“Yes” said the frog, “It is said, that if a nice kind person would pick me up, take me home, give me food & Warmth and with a good nights sleep would wake up a beautiful maiden again.

“Today’s your lucky day!” said the Cardinal, and picked up the frog and took him home. The Cardinal gave the frog lots of food, placed him by the fire and at bedtime put the frog on the pillow beside him. When the Cardinal awoke, he saw this beautiful women beside him in bed.
