Hi there..

An nicely compiled listing, definitely to come in handy...

Any suggestions on content links?

I generally have brain freeze when it comes to creating a page at first .. Does anyone know if there are any simple HTML templates that people are using just as a guideline and editing as they see fit?

Hope all is well

Good, free web templates are available at Open Source Web Design (http://www.oswd.org).

Hi Sid -

Thanks much for info on the templates... The section on the "popular" ones was good... There was a few good "textual" ones...

Aloha,

For PC-based stats, we were very unhappy with:

http://www.revenuecheckerforadsense.com/

We worked with the programmer, but he didn't have the chops to debug serious issues.

This one was "OK," but we didn't like the interface:

http://www.adsensedesktop.com/

We're quite satisfied with:

http://www.metalgrass.com/adsenselog/

I use both of these. Currently AdsenseDesktop more of the time as the access to channel info is quicker. But, it doesn't update the graphs automatically...and like Adsense Logs, the graphs are non-intuitive and not made to be read by human eyes. They're really only good for quickly spotting trends.

But both programs need a lot of work to become as valuable as they really could be. I've sent a lot of suggestions to the creators of the programs. The AdsenseDesktop guys are marginally responsive. The AdsenseLog guy much moreso. I am expecting a new version in a couple of months from him that should show a lot of improvements.

I agree that Adsense Tracker has some cool unique features...but because it was server based, and I have 50 sites, it was causing a major drag on my MySQL database performance, so I took it off. I also didn't care for the interface or analysis stuff.

I believe there's a lot of room in the market for a killer Adsense analysis package. There are very few things that I would consider paying a monthly fee for...and with 50 sites, I probably wouldn't, no matter what. But I would pay well for a good app that really addressed all the needs of Adsense publishers.

I'm still waiting to find it.

By the way, I have a site with links to a lot of Adsense tools and resources, for what it's worth: Adsense Tools (http://Adsense-Tools.com)

What are some of these suggestions, Chuck? What would you like to see in an AdSense stats program?

If anyone else has input, I'd like to hear it. I am considering creating my own package to offer people.

I'm looking for a script which will accomplish essentially what RSStoBlog does to help simplify the building of sites to maximize my AdSense income.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Hey,

I can recommend something similar to it. It's called Auto Blog Builder.

You can get a special deal for it at this link :
http://www.terrificdeals.info/go/blog_builder.php

The package also includes a Blog and Ping software and the Blog and Ping Tutorial.

Hope this helps :-)

adsensor: are you using auto-blog builder? Wondering if you could comment on it. The information page is:

Auto-Blog Builder (http://www.salesandtraffic.com/autoblogbuilder/)

thanks!

Nick

BTW, a fellow has put out a module for doing nothing but creating automatic blogger blogs, wants $849 (!). Has a camtasia video of it doing its thing at:

Automatic Blog Builder (http://www.catbcreator.com/catbcreator.html)

(doesn't seem to play in Firefox, but does in IE)

Sorry for diverting away from Joel's question of what features we would want for an adsense tracker...

Hi;

Perhaps others have had a better experience with Auto Blog Builder, but I found it VERY difficult to set up and use and even poorer at producing any thing even close to RSStoBlog.

I asked for my money back.

Wow, what a great site! There're many tools there I haven't considered until I saw your site.

More things to test ;)

I've added it to my bookmarks :)

Adsense Desktop appears to have more features than Adsense Log.

Does anyone know if Adsense Log does not do something that Adsense Desktop can do?
