I was hoping to get some feedback on your thoughts about good programs to use to publish my websites.
Presently, I use MS Frontpage to publish but I've been giving some thought to buyin Dreamweaver? Is it worth the investment? Could anybody give me some info. on anything else out there?
PS - I heard that publishing with Frontpage actually HURTS my rankings in the search engines. Has anyone else heard this?

I still do things the old-fashioned way and edit with WordPad!
I hate most page builders because of all the extraneous tags placed in the html document.

I am even more old fashioned as I still use Notepad.

Dreamweaver is great. Frontpage sucks. Notepad/wordpad is tedious ;)
I have worked with webdesign for some years and I love DW/Fireworks.
Even though DW may put a few tags extra in your code, it is no problem. You simply click a button and they are gone...

FrontPage works great for me since I don't have the time or patience to learn actually hardcoding. But I am interested in what you said about it potentially hurting your rankings. I'd be interested if anyone else has heard that.
