Priviet, all!
My wife is Russian, and I'm learning a smidgeon of it. I'm from Phoenix, AZ.
I'm still getting my feet wet with this stuff and am looking forward to interacting with everybody and improving my skills.
Joel, I wanted to say that I listened to a recording of a call you made with Rick Butz (the Blog-n-Ping guy) recently. While I found the interview quite informative, the part that was most enjoyable was your PASSION! Rick sounded like a guy who's well-trained at ... well, SOUNDING excited. YOU sounded like a kid in a candy store who was about to BURST with excitement!
Anybody who hasn't listened to this interview owes it to themselves to listen, if for no other reason than to reconnect with the passion that might have slipped away lately.
Joel, think there's a market out there if you were to do some 15-20 minute interviews about various topics that interest you (if not just AdSense) and just let that natural enthusiasm SHINE!

David,
First of all, welcome to the site!
Secondly, thank you for your kind words. Rick and I had a great time with the two-hour teleseminar. I had hoped to go beyond just teaching people what to do with AdSense. I really wanted to inspire them to go for the gusto and fight for their dreams.
It's interesting that you mention it, because in just a couple weeks I will have the entire teleseminar on two cds, along with a printed transcript, available to purchase. It's going to be a beautiful set and one that people can listen to again and again. I haven't set a firm price yet, but you'll hear about it soon enough.
Once again, welcome to AdsenseChat.com. I hope to see you around often!
Joel

David,
My wife is also Russian and been married about 5 years. I have learned about 300 words and simple phrases.
I have been in the AdSense game for more than a year. It can be great money but a need for stability.
Welcome to AdSense chat.
Dosvodania,
Brian

As has been said by others, I am so pleased to find this forum where a relative beginner can post without fear of embarrassment. I have a website through SiteBuildIt! and they have a wonderful forum, but it's a bit overwhelming at times. I look forward to participating in this one.
To David from Phoenix: I was born in Glendale and live now in El Mirage after many gypsy years traveling around the country. Do you know of any (beginner) webmaster SIGs in Phoenix?
BTW, my site is at http:www.decorate-bedrooms-for-less.com.
Here's to joyful success!

WOW! ANOTHER NATIVE!!!
Sorry, LaJoyce, I don't know of any SIGs or groups or anything here that relate to web stuff. Maybe you should start one up? :-) I live out in Tempe, so you're kindof on the other side of the world from me. (Well, folks from LA might think it "just" an hour's drive [in good traffic]...)
I looked into SiteBuildIt at one time. It seemed pretty nice. Your site is quite attractive, as well. Did SiteBuildIt generate that site (with all the links and stuff)?
The thing is, I've been dabbling around with adsense on a couple of sites, and they get very little traffic. My adsense revenue is up to almost $25 after 2+ years. I think the secret lies in having a BUNCH of sites if you want to rely on just adsense for a nice income.
SiteBuildIt is a bit pricey if you want to have a bunch of sites for "trolling". I can set you up with more cost-effective hosting and domains when you're ready -- just PM me.
