Milestone: First $200 dollar month!

So....for those keeping score...

I hit my milestone again.

August1 through August15 I had a grand total of $200.03

So less than 1/2 month and I hit another $200 month and if things keep up this way it could be my first $400 dollar month (which is very hard for me to even comprehend since that would be double my best month to date (last month))

Simple Amazing!!

The hard part in my head now is repeating the success!

Hey dj bill. Great job again. If you don't mind, could you please tell how long did it take you to earn your first paycheck with adsense?

Started Adsense on Friday, October 29, 2004.

First Adsense click was on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 and I earned $.15.

So Oct. 2004 through April 2005, I hit my first 100 thresholod and had a total of 106.03. So with that I received my first paper check from Google near the end of May 2005.

Lately with my network of sites I have been around 60-100 per month but like I had said last month was my first 200 dollar month and we will see how August ends up but so far it has been amazing!

Did you use adwords? You mentioned that it took you about 7 months to earn your first check with adsense. Isn't adwords suppose to speed up the process and give more traffic. Unless you did not use adwords.

Adwords can do that....however...Adwords costs money.

So why spend money to make money...kind of a break even idea. In most cases a losing proposition.

I have used Adwords here and there....but when I have it is usually not to make money with Adsense.

I have not spent a dime on adwordsthis month....

Last month I did to promote the start of Big Brother for my Must-See-TV.com website...

....but the site that is making money and getting all the traffic is my Big-Brother-Blog.com site. Go figure. I have never spent any money on the blog via Adwords.

Adwords can be quite powerful if used correctly...I honestly do not think I have ever used it correctly (or at least not in an optimal way!)

I feel the same way about adwords as you dj bill. It seems way too intricate for me, and I have no idea how to use it correctly.

Congrats! You joined the Average Income club! It's usually around $100-$200 a month for good sites. Less for others. Earning thousands a month is extremely difficult and ONLY popular sites are hitting those marks. (high traffic)

If you can get $200 a month, consistently mixed with other sources of online income, you could actually quit your day job if you have one.

Fresh on my mind is shoemoney's $132,000+ adsense paycheck representing ONE MONTH's of adsense income. I get sick just thinking about it.
$132,000 is not what I call 'shoemoney' ...

Now, times $132K * 12 = $1,584,000.00 a year! Yeah.

Now get this, I've heard that there have been others with much higher MONTHLY paychecks! Not sure if it's happening but some folks have made BIG money with Adsense!
