Default Hi everyone, just joined Adsense Chat

I've had my website up for some time now and put a few google ads on pages then forgot about it.

Some time later I recieved a cheque in the mail for $108.00 US dollars, I was very pleasantly surprised so I went and added more google ads. (Who wouldn't)

It's nice earning enough to pay for hosting and things but now I want to earn more as I've read other people do very well this way.

I suppose I have 2 challenges, ad placement and traffic. Presently I only have about 140 people per day visiting my site.

I would love any comments that might help! Please check out my site at http://www.LivingWithRheumatoidArthritis.com

Oh, I should tell somethings about myself. I am the writer of my webpage, and I do Live with Rheumatoid Arthritis, successfully, meaning without medication and without all the pain and damage associated with the disease.

I live in British Columbia, Canada in the country with my family, husband and 2 teenage boys. I'm a stay at home mom and I'm kept very busy with the boys activities, maintaining our property, horses, dogs and most importantly, taking care of my health.

I do have time though for implementing any changes to my website that will help to earn an income. I enjoy staying at home!

Welcome! I rather like the layout of the site. One suggestion would be to increase the site of your contact info on the left margin, but more importantly would be to tweak either the size or font of the navigation links on the left. They are not as readable to me as they should be. It may be because I operate at very high resolution but it's something to think about.

Default Thank you trealm

I will work on those suggestions. I think though I have to remove the contact information because I've tried and tried to change the size, with no luck, but certainly I can fix the other problem.

So, I just make a contact page instead, that would work I suppose.

Thank you so much for your input!

I'd suggest ditching the menu buttons altogether and going for text links (with a hover effect in CSS) as it will optimize the site.

You'll be creating keywords that are linked to pages of the same name. The search engines will prefer that over your current set-up.

And you have a broken image: http://www.livingwithrheumatoidarthr...ges/Susan.jpeg

Default only 140!!!

Only 140? Ship them to me and I'll get you making that $108 a month into nearly that per day, particualarly with such a lucrative keyword!!! Your adsense screams 'ADS Don't click me! Get blending them now! make the border and the background both white, the text and url black, and the heading blue (0000FF - is the code you need), switch to the big rectangle ad and I pretty much guarantee you will make more in a day with 140 visitors than you made all last week. Also whack exactly the same in below the fold. You have good content and so people will read on below the fold. So catch them at the end of the page. Try this right now - and post your results here in 7 days time, I await your post!

Default lol, thank you for your reply

I'll be trying to make the changes you suggested, and I will write back in 7 days to say how it's going.

But I'm confused. Today, I guess people from here kindly went to my site and clicked on ads........I'm guessing from the numbers, but although there were clicks it doesn't pay anything.

I was at 3 clicks and .77 cents at 8 am this morning. Now I am at 40 clicks and .77 cents at 5:33 in the afternoon. How does this work?
